What John Would Want

Could we fall in love with love?

For the man who lives above

Let's imagine for his sake

for our own, he had to ache

Words of wisdom, man of change

Shall we honor what he dreamed

As a humble offering

of love some rage should be deemed

That is all that John would want

Let us open up our hearts

Make a change, give peace a chance

All the people are the same

There's no use in selfishness

Sing so your voice can be heard

We don't want this wars that maim

and not be afraid to dream

This is a poem I wrote based on the song "Let it be" from the Beatles and dedicated to John Lennon. I understand it doesn't have a very complicated diction and it is written in a very simple way and that's why I hope everyone that reads it enjoys. <3
